“Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains.”  -Psalm 107:13-14

Inner Healing & Deliverance

What is Inner Healing & Deliverance?

Inner healing and deliverance are two works of the Holy Spirit. Both bring freedom, restoration, and wholeness through Jesus Christ.

Inner Healing addresses the wounds we carry within us, whether from past experiences, trauma, rejection, grief, or other painful circumstances. These wounds can affect how we see ourselves, others, and even God. Psalm 147:3 tells us that God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Through prayer, the truth of God's Word, and the work of the Holy Spirit, we seek the Lord for healing in those places where pain has taken root, allowing His truth to replace the lies we have believed and His love to restore what has been broken.

An important part of inner healing is forgiveness. Sometimes, we need to forgive ourselves, and other times, we need to forgive those who have hurt us. Unforgiveness can keep us bound to the very pain we desire to be free from and can open the door to spiritual bondage. Jesus also teaches us the seriousness of forgiveness, warning that if we refuse to forgive others, our Heavenly Father will not forgive our sins (Matthew 6:14–15). The truth is, there is not one person on this earth who does not need God's forgiveness. No one is righteous on their own (Romans 3:10). Yet, through the grace of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, we can extend the same forgiveness that has been freely given to us and begin to walk in freedom.

Deliverance is when a person is rescued from demonic possession or oppression through the power and authority of Jesus Christ. Throughout Scripture, we see Jesus casting out demons, setting people free from bondage, and restoring their lives (Mark 1:32–34; Luke 8:26–39). Jesus also gave His disciples authority to cast out evil spirits (Luke 9:1), showing that deliverance was part of the ministry He entrusted to His followers. At The Daughters of Zion Foundation, we believe that Jesus Christ still delivers people today. Through prayer and the authority of His name, we minister to those seeking freedom from demonic bondage, knowing that it is Jesus Christ alone who has the power to set them free.

We believe that Jesus Christ is both our Healer and Deliverer. Our desire is to walk alongside women as they seek Him for healing, freedom, and a deeper relationship with the One who makes all things new.

Inner Healing

Our inner healing sessions are held through Zoom and are completely led by the Holy Spirit. Depending on the depth of the wounds being addressed, inner healing may require more than one session. We ask that you come with an open and honest heart, willing to forgive yourself and those who have hurt you. We understand that this part is extremely difficult but remember, this is not done in your own strength. Allow the Holy Spirit to lead you as we seek the Lord together for healing, restoration, and freedom.

Deliverance

Our deliverance sessions are held through Zoom and are completely led by the Holy Spirit. We encourage you to come with honesty and a willingness to confess and turn away from sin. God is faithful to forgive and cleanse us when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9). Following deliverance, we recommend a few mentorship sessions and encourage you to remain in God's Word, prayer, and obedience, keeping your spiritual house filled with His presence.

Please read Matthew 12:43–45.
